Id like to ask you about what it is like working in an Office In New York City? I am working from an office in Liverpool City Centre and i can tell you it is ok,

I work 9-5 with an 30 mins lunch, which is normally spent going for a "smoke" and getting my lunch-a tuna sandwich, from Asda. We usually go out on a friday to one of the city centres bars, where we have a drink before going our seperate ways. What the hell is it like working in an high rise building?

It must freak you out knowing how far from the ground you are-Or is it very liberating experience?

I need to know how much living expenses will be (I will be in the Brooklyn area)...how are those cheap apts. the ones that are in the $800-900 range (do they have rats) ?..How safe is it there?...Is it tough to get a good part time job there?..man I have soo many questions, this will be the first time I live on my own and I'm moving 3,000 miles away to a HUGE city from my little beach town!! Can someone help me just get an idea of what it will be like over there?

I recently got a job offer in New York City and have been doing reserach on housing costs. Staten Island seems to be affordable in comparison with the other boroughs. Is this just because it is further away than the rest? I'd love to hear anyone who lives there or has ever been there give their opinions. Thanks~

I am going to Chicago in a couple weeks to do some job hunting and the guy that is helping me out asked me what I want to do while i'm there. The guy helping me is going to be with me and i don't think bars are necessarily appropriate given the situation. Keep in mind I will be there in December so nothing that involves me being outside for too long. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

I live in Atlanta, but I'm not exactly into the news. I know a lot about a new addition to the airport, and I'm going there next summer to go to Switzerland.

What is this new building? Is it a new terminal or a new place to check in or unload from MARTA?

O, what's the best place to eat in the airport, I haven't been there in a while. (LUNCH)

My name is Sarah. I have to do research of an area in New York City. Our area is Park Slope.

What we have to do is ask residents of Park Slope:
*How do they feel about living there?
*If there was anything they could change (a.k.a problems with graffiti) what would help the community?

so if anyone could answer that, it would be great! and raise my grade up too! lol

My husband and I are planning to go to NY for new year's eve. We are staying with friends and family in New jersey. We are from FL and have 3 young kids - 7, 5,4 -- Ww would love to go to Times Square but not sure if it is not appropriate OR too much for kids. Any other ideas -- What else can we do so all of us are together and have a good time -- Other than sitting in the house and watching TV. Is it dangerous to be out that late? Will we be compromising safety? Does it snow there or just too cold but no snow in Dec.?

My Boyfriend and I have been planning a vacation for Christmas and we narrowed down our choices to Pensacola and Miami. I prefer miami cuz I have never been there plus the night life and other activities too. Miami just sounds too active but it could be v crowded around christmas time. I find Pensacola more as a peaceful vacation spot. If anyone has been to both the places can someone suggest what would be a good choice? I am looking for a balanced vacation spot where we could have fun, dancing, out-door activities and at the same time relax and have a peaceful stay. Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks :-).
