It's a little more than 70 miles north. Drive time can be anywhere from 90 mins to 3 hours depending on traffic and weather conditions.

There is no such thing as affordable living near Manhattan. There was just an article on Yahoo about the most expensive places to rent in the United States and New York City was #1.

appx 70 miles north. it's not 2 hrs away . i live 20 min from middletown and i am only an hour away from manhattan
