I would like to know where I can find information about Amsterdam. My friend and I have to do a university project where we have to propose Amsterdam as the host city for the next Olympics.
We need info such as sport stadiums, transportation, hotels, museums, weather, crime rate, etc.
We have already found a lot of info, but would like to know if there is someone out there with a few website names we might have missed.

hey there, I have a friend coming from Canada (arriving at Heathrow) at 1:00am in 2 weeks time. I want to be there to pick her up, and then to take her into London. If her flight was during the day, I would just get the tube in, and then take her into london on the tube, however, as the flight arrives at 1am, I am not sure how I can get there and back (as the tube will stop running, i assume).

We (husband, me, and 2 kids) are going to Maui in 3 days (staying @ the Westin). None of us have ever been to Maui. My 10-yr-old was in Oahu when he was 3 mos old so I don't think he remembers much. Besides snorkeling being the obvious, what else can I do with my older son, considering one of us is probably tied up to the clueless baby? Also, do you think it's worthwhile to try to make it to the Big Island to see the volcano from an educational point of view? I am panicking a little about surviving the trip. Oh, we'll be there for 5 days.

I'm trying to find a place to live and retire comfortable, with a little nest egg I have, that wouldn't last long in the U.S. , but maybe in another country. Someone suggested these places to me, so I asked. I'm not looking for guesses, but facts, and would be so greatful for your honest answers. Why does the rest of the world hate americans. Dont you realize that the citicens are unwilling participents in the politicions games?
I work just like you, i pay my taxes, and i surf. Thats all i do. I dident choose to be an american, i was simply born here. I dont agree with ANY thing bush says or does.
