I am planning a trip around the world and I want to experience the local music of a lot of different countries/places. What I am trying to find out is where I will get the most amazing experiences listening to and watching local music. I am not so much interested in the more popular styles of music but the more traditional and even indiginous music of each country.

I'm saving up enough to money so that in at least 2 months I can move to California, get a job and settle over there. Where's the best place to live over there? I was thinking of LA, but I figure they're probably crowded enough. I've seen pictures of Palm Springs and thought that might be nice... Basically though, I want to be by the ocean. Anyway, opinions please........................

Please help, I need advice. Ultimately I will have to make the decision but I am so confused.

I am almost done with college, and I have two options with $3,000 saved up and I can do either of the following.

A.) Move out of my house, move to a big city and get my own apartment and job. Be on my own pretty much and experience a new city and life.

OR

B.) Go to Japan for one week for a vacation, stay with a host family, and experience a completely new culture for one week only.

PLEASE HELP and give some advice on what to do. I am clueless.

I'm going to The UK and when i got my passport picture taken (a few months ago) i looked quite different then i do now. In my picture i have 4-5 inch hair (now i got a crew cut, 1/2 inches) and i didn't have glasses. Will this be a problem? If so its too late to get another passport, i'm leaving in a few hours

Everyone who can have them at will knows that they are an amazing experiance and it may seem odd that someone would be asking for ideas on what to do. Just looking for inspiration I guess. No I'm not crazy, if you can't have an OBE then you are just not using all of your senses, so don't hate ;)

sheesh, it seems like everyone I know has been out of the country in the last six months. Where are they getting money to do all this?! Not all of their parents are filthy rich! And I would LOVE to go somewhere, so someone please tell me what I'm missing! :)

I am getting married next august, and we are searching for a good honeymoon destination. Its atlantic hurricane season, so we dont want to go to the Caribbean. We are also looking for a good trip for our money, for example I heard it was cheap to go to Buenos Aires, but also a really nice place to visit. Anyone have any reccomendations?
