I am getting married next august, and we are searching for a good honeymoon destination. Its atlantic hurricane season, so we dont want to go to the Caribbean. We are also looking for a good trip for our money, for example I heard it was cheap to go to Buenos Aires, but also a really nice place to visit. Anyone have any reccomendations?

Buenos Aires is a good choice- depending on what you're looking for in a trip. BA has the outdoor cafes, public parks and architecture of a European city, at less than half the cost. Getting there tends to be pricey, however, and remember that the seasons are reversed (If you go in August, you'll be hitting BA in the coldest part of winter.)
Hawaii can also deliver- even with higher prices on the islands, it won't cost you as much to get there (and, if you don't speak Spanish, Argentina can be a little tough).
For a more outdoor and adventure-oriented trip, Costa Rica is hard to beat. Relatively easy to get there, and prices are low- although you should not expect fancy hotels, etc. there.

Hawaii is the number one honeymoon destination in the USA for a reason...it's paradise. Stay in Maui and have a great time in one of the most beautiful places on earth. Plenty to do and see.
Buenos Aires is very nice and cheap, you will be very happy there. Not what I would call a honeymoon destination, but it is a great trip. Have you thought about Costa Rica or Montreal as both can be inexpensive for the dollar? It will be hard to get a great rate for anywhere popular as it is still the height of vacation season and all the rates are jacked up. Too bad you can't wait a few weeks as those same rates start to drop in September.

Congrats!! India is a great Honeymoon destination. Owing to lower cost of living, the outlays are much lesser compared to the experience.

I went to Pangkor Laut in Malaysia. It is a resort on a private island in the straits of Malacca with overwater huts and a rain forest on the island. Great food and a wonderful value. It consistently ranks as one of the best resorts.

I might assess out the Caribbean equivalent to St. Maarten. The island is part owned via the French and part owned via the Dutch. The French part they are saying is rather like being in Europe. The shores are exceptional.

southeast asia (like thailand or malaysia) is really nice. i heard that food and activities are cheap there too.
