You don't need your mommy to call and say it's ok. All you need is a valid ID like a drivers license and a credit card or debit card. Hotels do not have age restrictions per say, they don't even know how old you are. Only that you seem responsible and can pay for the room.

People younger than you rent hotel rooms all the time.

Just to be safe use a hotel that charges by the hour. THey won't care how old you are and the sheets will be warmed for you.

Yes they can . but best way is that she book their room for them if not, she does not need even to call and say "it is okay"

Anybody can rent a room you just tell them your name and you got to have a credit card number in your name to get a room.

No she has to rent the room in her name in order to be liable for damages and the cleaning fees.
