We have been to Jamaica 4 times. We love it and the price is right, the people are WONDERFUL. We're just thinking about changing destinations.

We went to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico and stayed at the Paraiso Lindo Iberostar. We upgraded a little and had access to all 12 or so restraunts, amenities on multiple resorts, free booz, etc. The weather was right and there was multiple pools including a long lazy river and swim up bar (key!!). We paid about 1300 per including air but you could downgrade a little if you wanted. I am going to go back.

I'd look into the Dominican Republic. Lots of All Inclusives, very nice people. Interesting stuff to do, too. Great snorkelling, plus other water sports in Cabarete. Great old city near Santo Domingo. If you're going in the December to March timeline, consider whale watching!

Talk to your travel agent about the Mexican coast. Many of the large resorts there are very reasonable and all inclusive. Not only that but they have fantastic tours and outings that are really in-expensive.

I loved Punta Cana area. The price wasn't that expensive. Beautiful beach. We also love Cancun. Beautiful beach and ocean.

I hear you can get a great deal to Cancun right now, like $900.00 for a week includung air fair.
