Born and raised in Brooklyn. NY socialite since 14 (partied with the best!). Have traveled to Japan, Canada, Jamaica, And across the US on business. Going to Europe for the first time. Wanna do it right. As a NYer I am not interested in the tourist trip. I wanna hit the right scene at the right time in the right country... What do you suggest?

I think I may have a problem. I'm going to Luxembourg with work and I said I wanted to see the country while I was there and maybe do some walking. So one of our guys in our Lux office has booked me a hotel in a place called Mullerthal.

Now he knows I don't have a car, so I was expecting it to be somewhere with good transport links. But I've just looked it up and it's about 30 miles from the airport and doesn't seem to be anywhere near a railway station or even a bus route. Of course this isn't helped by the fact that I don't speak French or German and so the public transport websites make no sense to me.

Help! How do I get from Luxembourg Airport to Mullerthal? And how do I get back again on a Sunday morning? Do I really need to get a taxi both ways? If yes, how much is this likely to cost?

Don't get me wrong, the place looks lovely. But what with the language difficulty (do people outside of Lux town speak much English?) and it being a Sunday, I'm worried I'll miss my plane!

I have earned two free airline tickets and 5 nights hotel stay to one of the cities listed below. I have to use it this year and my husband and I can't decide! We have to use all 5 nights hotel stay in one city, so it would need to be a city that has a lot to do, or is close to lots of sights to see. Which city would you go to and why?

Amsterdam
Athens
Barcelona
Berlin
Brussels
Budapest
Copenhagen
Dublin
Frankfurt
Geneva
Glasgow
Lisbon
Madrid
Milan
Munich
Oslo
Paris
Prague
Reykjavik
Rome
Shannon
Stockholm
Vienna
Warsaw
Zurich

I am staying for 4 nights, how much money do you suggest I take? I've heard that pickpockets are rife in Prague, should I have some money in £ and some in Kc?
We want to do some sight-seeing and every night we will be eating out.

I am trying to plan a trip around Europe but of course I can't go everywhere. I really like hiking and outdoorsy experiences more than art and museums or shopping and food. What would you recommend?

I went to finland once. the opportunity presented itself in the form of an exchange student at my school. we became friends, and she invited me to come stay with her over the summer. i had money coming to me from my parents because of a long standing rule in my house (i may make a question about it one day, so you know what im talking about) so i took the opportunity and went to finland. i stayed mainly near helsinki, but i also went north a little bit. i had the time of my life and saw all sorts of stuff i wouldnt have seen if i were just a tourist and not staying with someone. i went to lots of local nightspots and resturants, and not just the touristy places. ever since then i miss it so much! so, what is the most interesting place you have ever visited?
