I am moving to Bratislava within the next few days, and once I find an apartment, would need to subscribe to a reliable Slovakian ADSL/CABLE internet service provider.

Can anybody provide a list of all Slovakian ISPs, together with (hopefully) a rough cost? Is there any preference to either ADSL or CABLE, or a specific company?

Note: I'll need about 1024KB DOWN & 256KB UP. Would welcome any specific recommendation.

What are the best things to do there? Where are the best places to stay? I may rent a car and go further afield rather than stay in Pula - what's nearby?

I like doing the touristy taking pictures, looking at art, etc., but what are some good cities with more than just that which would appeal to me and 4 other 18-19 year old guys (ie: nightlife, beaches, camping, etc.)? We do plan on doing the cliche staying in hostels and living out of our backpacks while hoping we can catch a passride flight and a train to be on time. I think some stops in the works are London, Rome, Amsterdam (cliche i know), and maybe Paris. Should be about two weeks and money, not including transportation if planned, should be an issue. Any ideas on stuff to do over there?

-Thanks,
A lost Texan

She gets a huge apple strudle the size of a loaf of bread for $1.30? She mentions that it is not in the touristy part of town, but she never says the name of it or exactly where it is.
