I am trying to plan a trip around Europe but of course I can't go everywhere. I really like hiking and outdoorsy experiences more than art and museums or shopping and food. What would you recommend?

Slovenia is Europe's best kept secret, so far, it has all the charm of Austria/Czech Republic/Hungary etc. and is still affordable for the budget conscious traveller which can not be said of most European countries. The countryside is stunning, the best way to get around is walking and/or cycling, not many cars on the roads once you leave the cities and even there they haven't heard of traffic jams yet.

Hi
Definately Switzerland. Enjoy and have fun. Lucky you!
Switzerland may be neutral but it is certainly not flavourless. The fusion of German, French and Italian ingredients has formed a robust national culture, and the country's alpine landscapes have enough zing to reinvigorate the most jaded traveller.

Do not miss Salzburg, Austria. It is beautiful there. And, if you are interested in "The Sound of Music," you can take the tour and see the different places used on location for the film.

as you can probably tell...basically you dont wana miss anywhere...im partiucularly bias because i spent last year living in amsterdam, and i'd say dont miss there, its full of lots of other like minded people and its a great place to party, you have to do it at least once! my advice is to just choose a fewplaces with the intention of returning again someday. having said that Italy is amazing. and you have to go to Paris, I wouldnt say it was my favourite place, but its hard to beat the eiffel tower at night.

As a expert Backpacker i could desire to declare that this itinerary has way too many places for the time you're able to desire to spend. attempt being extra sensible and doing England/Scotland and eire or France, Germany and Italy. the excuses being which you're able to desire to upload in return and forth circumstances. return and forth by potential of practice is exciting and may be extra value-effective than flying (if finished precise). besides the undeniable fact that, it takes up a great bite of time. in case your going to spend a ton of money why not communicate approximately one section. in the process my travels the element that I hear maximum from fellow travelers is they choose that they had extra time. you are able to't in simple terms flow...flow...decide for 3 weeks! you will choose an afternoon or 2 to loosen up. this is not exciting to agonize approximately sticking to plans and having to agonize approximately catching a trains or flights to maintain on time table. you will take up extra (actually) in case you have extra time in a position to delight in an area. yet another element is that many places/vacationer have unusual hours of operation which could make your thought develop right into a nightmare in case you do not learn up previously. i in my view sense i ought to help extra in case you upload me as a pal on Yahoo solutions and we are in a position to communicate via IM or digital mail. If not, sturdy success!

If you would like to see history - France and Italy. If you would like to see fashion - Italy (Milan) and England (London). If you would like to see sea and beaches - Greece and Croatia. But I live in Serbia and it is quite small but very peaceful and nice country.
