My fiance and I are thinking about moving from the US to Europe. We are not sure where yet (still in the early stages of planning) but Italy is high on our list. Does anyone have any recommendations? What is the proceedure about getting Visa's/Work Visas? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

i know its a lot of questions, but iv no clue on canary islands cos iv never been, only been to Salou in Spain twice. its for my mum and me, and just want somewhere quiet and relaxing, not looking for a party place or lots of nightlife.

Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement "euro" plugs? My local electronics store recently discontinued them and nobody else in town seems to sell them. Of course, any source will need to accept mail order, internet, or telephone orders.

Details: This is the small two-prong ungrounded male AC power plug connector used in low-power consumer electronics throughout Europe. In Germany, these are often called "Schuko" plugs.

Notice I want the plug itself, not an adapter or replacement power cord. I intend to snip off the existing plug from a cord (attached to items purchased in other countries, for example) and replace it with this plug in a semi-permanent installation. The type of electrical connection is unimportant (crimp, solder, or screw).

Note: If you sell this or can answer after this question is closed, please feel free to contact me directly by clicking on my name above and then selecting the "email..." link on my profile page.

What is the value of the Ukrainan Hyrvna (or however you spell it) in the ukraine, i know that $500 dollars australian buys about 2000 UH, but is the inflation proportional, does say, a can of coke cost 8 hyrvna or something. I am going to be in the ukraine for a week and just want to know how much money to take, this is only really a relevent question for those who have been to the ukraine (in the last few years). Cheers.
