Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement "euro" plugs? My local electronics store recently discontinued them and nobody else in town seems to sell them. Of course, any source will need to accept mail order, internet, or telephone orders.

Details: This is the small two-prong ungrounded male AC power plug connector used in low-power consumer electronics throughout Europe. In Germany, these are often called "Schuko" plugs.

Notice I want the plug itself, not an adapter or replacement power cord. I intend to snip off the existing plug from a cord (attached to items purchased in other countries, for example) and replace it with this plug in a semi-permanent installation. The type of electrical connection is unimportant (crimp, solder, or screw).

Note: If you sell this or can answer after this question is closed, please feel free to contact me directly by clicking on my name above and then selecting the "email..." link on my profile page.

As my husband clearly said, he is looking for replacement plugs, not plug adapters.

An easiest way to buy it is online - for example at http://www.voltage-converter-transformers.com/plug-adapter.html (the cost is $ 1.00 plus shipping)

I bought mine at an airport, so if you travel anytime soon, check a travel accessories store - it's a good place to look.

Sometimes stores like RadioShack and BestBuy carry them.too.
