I'm 15 and next year I am going foreign exchange for my junior year. I Live in the US, and I am unsure as to where I want to go. I was thinking about Spain, Brazil, Chile, maybe Switzerland or Germany.I want to learn Spanish because it is so widely spoken here in California. But that is not the most important, but it would be nice. any advice would really help, thanks.

The Spanish in Spain is kind of different than the Spanish spoken in the Americas...but all the countries have slightly different dialects. (Your best bet for that would be Chile, then, since people don't generall speak Spanish in the other three countries you mention.)

It depends on other things you want to do. For example, do you like warmer places or colder places? Switzerland and Germany can get cold in the winter. Parts of Chile can, too, but since it's below the equator it's summer there now.

If you want to learn a language that will help you in a career, learn Chinese. Spanish speakers are a dime a dozen. Knowing Chinese is HUGE!!! Go to China. Shanghai is wonderful.
