Where would you recommend i.e. resorts and accommodation, that are reasonable but not tacky. Want somewhere to relax in nice surroundings but with some interesting things to see and do. A nice beach and good restaurants too please!

Oh - travelling from either Dublin or Belfast.

I am looking to go travelling round europe for a few months, I want to see as many areas as I can fit in (whilst still getting to experience places properly). If I were to get a rail pass I would probably get the 1 or 2 zones one and then choose another 1 or 2 zones when it expires. I'm going to play it by ear, but will probably be moving on every couple of days. Just wondering whether an all-inclusive rail pass is likely to be my best bet or whether I should just buy tickets for the individual journeys. (I'm under 26)

My cousin is going to spend 2 months in Europe (she's going everywhere) and for her birthday I want to send her a survival kit. I thought of toilet seat covers and hand sanitizer, some kind of translator dictionary that hopefully has a few languages in it (know where I can find one?) and a wallet chain. Any other ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

We are interested in taking a tour around Europe on our bicycles this summer and we would welcome any ideas/ suggestions on planning the trip, e.g. things we should definately take with us, things that people have used and realised they didn't need them after all. etc. Also, anyone who has done this sort of trip, what is the minimum bugdet we should be looking at, taking into account that we'll probably be mostly camping. Thank you!

I just need some basic advice about traveling overseas. A few friends and myself are going to Europe for two weeks this summer. We are making stops in England, France, Germany and Switzerland (if that's how you spell it!) but I would love to have some simple tips about how to get around, communication (because I've heard that some French people get angry if you don't speak French, however i don't know if this is actually true) and maybe ever sites I need to see (Outside of the basics like the Effiel Tower and whatnot...of course we will see those things! :-D)

Also, what are the legal age limits in the countries for things like going to bars and drinking, you know that whole deal. :-D

Thanks so much in advance!

I want to backpack through various parts of Europe. With the dollar lower than the euro, is it a good idea to exchange now in case the dollar falls lower against the euro in the future or should I hang on to my money and exchange it only when I travel. I am considering the UK (pound) and also croatia (HRK) in addition to places where the euro is used. I am hoping to travel sometime this year. Any and all opinions are welcome. Also travel tips if you have done this in the past are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't know the best way of doing it..

by car... train... coach... hitch hike?

Any suggestions from anyone who has done something like this are much appreciated!

I'm thinking of backpacking across Europe. Bartending from one place to another along my way for money. Will I require Visa's for each country I plan to work in or will they go for under the table work?

I am a highly experienced bartender with years experience. Getting work will be no issue. I'm only asking for legal issues.
