I am referring to a quaint restaurant up in the mountains in Cambrils, Spain. It was just too picturesque for words and I had the best possible paella there. There were cherry trees al over, a lake in the mountains, a swing, so idyllic. And Pepe's was the nicest man ever.

I mean is it possible to travel on a budget and stay like for a few weeks in each city? (I hate that kind of tours that go: visit 20 capitals in 15 days, you just rush and enjoy nothing).
Some people say it's possible to survive teaching conversational English to private students (under the table, collecting cash) without actually breaking the law and hopefully having enough time to make friends and appreciate the culture more deeply(having just a tourist visa, no work permit).
Any advice on this please???

I am flying to Poland in April and wanted to know how long the flight would be (it seems most stop over in Frankfurt, Germany).
Also, my husband, as much as he would like to see Europe is TERRORFIED of flying.
He has flown twice as an adult -- under 1 hour trips both times. I flew with him one of those times and he was so tense it made me nervous (and my father is a pilot, I've flown a plane myself and am a frequent passenger).
Is there anything that could keep him calm for such a long flight? I would like him to be able to enjoy Europe, but not if it means X hours of torture.

Do the "checkerboard squares" on European emergency vehicles (police, ambulances) have an official name? Is their design (colors, size, shape) based on a study or theoretical principle, and if so, what?

20-25 years ago, I had a pen pal from Finland. Her name is Nina Martikainen. And I remembered she was living Valkeakoski. That is all.
How can I find her ? I need some recommendation.

Hi, I am traveling with my 65-year old mother [I am 27] and I think she likes the convenience of an escorted tour, I wouldn't mind being more independent, is there an escorted tour people could recommend, as well as the best ways to go about planning a trip as complex as this? I am looking into a package that already has the hotels, airfare, and rail tickets included, so its just the actual day trips I would need to plan.

Thanks!

This March I'm planning on visiting Prague and Munich and was thinking of taking a train. I have a few questions:
1 What are the names of train lines that go this route and are they costly?
2 Are reservations required for this particular train or do they come around every so often like a subway stop and you just hop on?
3 Are there any good websites that have more info on this train?
4 Finally, is the trip long?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE!!!!
