well as far as i know italians have many holidays.though as i don't think that they need such holidays while they have their siestas they do have holidays and guess they are increasing haha..anyway they have ferragosto which is a religious fest at the15 of every august.Has the meaning of the pregnancy of Mother Mary and the coming of Jesus CHrist.If you go to italy at ferragosto time you'll se some warning messages at the windows of the shops which says:'chiuso per ferie'.that means closed for the holiday.then they have some other holidays like befana..giorno dei morti which means i think the day of deaths,day of saints,and some other which arrives to even12 holidays and fests in a year.Think about it hehe...THat's all from me..i hope this helps you...
