May in Europe, the temperature can be anything between zero degrees centigrade and 20 degrees (or even more, in the south of Italy and France).

The best would be to have some tops/shirts/t-shirts/blouses plus some extra layers which may be added - like a sweater and some jacket. Be aware, that May might be rainy as well.

May is an interesting month. Expect Italy to be uch warmer than the rest unless your in the mountains. Don't forget a rain coat!! Most of the mainland will be the same as each other- not hot yet,but not cold. I would recommend long sleeve tees and plan on dressing in layers that are easy to remove and carry with you.
Sweden will be the coldest of these places. I would make that last to try to catch the best weather.
