I have about $1900 in medical debt. I have two kids a mortgage and a car pymnt. I dont make great $$ at work, and I have this guy calling me all the time to collect on that debt. I have told him time and time again that all I can really afford right now is $100 a month, and that if I get a good bonus I can pay more some months. He is insisting on me paying 333 for 6 months or he is getting a judgement put against me. What can I do? If he does that I will have to quit my job because I wouldnt be able to afford daycare. UGH! help!

People are people, we all know that. But some cultures encourage friendliness and decency toward strangers more than others. Therefore, in all your experiences of trapesing through Europe, what nation of people in Europe and the British Isles would you rank as the friendliest, nicest, and most genuine?

Every time I visit Athens Greece, I'm so mesmerized by the beauty and sex appeal of Greek women.

What is is that makes them so much more appealing to me than American women?

Every time I go back to Greece, I end up saying "I gotta get me one of these (Greek Women)".

But, most of them don't seem to like Americans these days and I'll just have to settle for an American woman I guess.

My mom & I will be in Athens on Saturday morning, coming from CA and OR respectively. We realize that Easter is a very important holiday there & I was just wondering if any folks had recommendations on things we absolutely should be sure not to miss. While we're not religious by any means, we do want to attend a service, if it's acceptable & not disrespectful for tourists to do so.

Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!

He opened up the country to the rest of the world. People no longer had to limit their criticism to hushed words said at the kitchen table. He introduced economic reform so people could start their own businesses. Understanding that vodka and productivity hardly go hand in hand, he even tried to combat alcoholism by restricting its sale.

So what did he do wrong? Why did the Soviet economy collapse when reforms were introduced -- but "communist" China's reforming economy is growing?

This question should probably go under History, but I am more interested in hearing opinions of people who come from or have a deep understanding of former Soviet countries. Best answer to the most convincing argument.

I have lived & worked in Turkey for many years & the great % of answers here are either guesses by people that don't know or have never been here or know it all expats that think they know it all. I think if you don't know the 100% correct answer then you could do some serious harm, cause people unnecessary grief & expenditure plus insult the Turkish people people. If you dont know the 100% correct answer then i think you should not answer.
