People are people, we all know that. But some cultures encourage friendliness and decency toward strangers more than others. Therefore, in all your experiences of trapesing through Europe, what nation of people in Europe and the British Isles would you rank as the friendliest, nicest, and most genuine?

I have been to many countries in Europe and the friendliest people i met were the English. Very cordial, friendly and ready to help with great sense of humour. Its a pleasure to communicate with these people :)
We( Bulgarians) are also very hospitable :)

I would have say from England. Most of the countries in Europe hate tourists/ don't act too nice to them. Also, many countries look at other nationalities in different ways. You will find nice people everywhere, but majority will be mean. The English are mostly nice and will treat you nicely.
