Hi, I am traveling with my 65-year old mother [I am 27] and I think she likes the convenience of an escorted tour, I wouldn't mind being more independent, is there an escorted tour people could recommend, as well as the best ways to go about planning a trip as complex as this? I am looking into a package that already has the hotels, airfare, and rail tickets included, so its just the actual day trips I would need to plan.

Thanks!

I am a college student who seeks to have friends from foreign countries, including Denmark. Even thought I don't speak Danish, I would like to learn about Denmark and it's culture.

I live in the USA, but I was born in South America. I prefer pen-pal communication (letters) over e-pal communication (e-mails) because l find letters from foreing countries to have more meaning.

Mange Tak :)

This March I'm planning on visiting Prague and Munich and was thinking of taking a train. I have a few questions:
1 What are the names of train lines that go this route and are they costly?
2 Are reservations required for this particular train or do they come around every so often like a subway stop and you just hop on?
3 Are there any good websites that have more info on this train?
4 Finally, is the trip long?

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE!!!!

I've heard the popularity of the Euro in Romania has increased significantly, even though Romania has not officially switched from the RON, until they can stablize their currency.

Does anyone have some cultural expertise on the popularity of the Euro in Romania? Especially in Bucharest.

Over the years, I have heard some really wild stories about people's travels in Romania. The place sounds like a combination toxic waste dump and wild, wild, west. This seems escharest and Ploiesti. Is this all bunk, or is there some truth to it?

I like sandy beaches and enjoy sight seeing and history in the day and eating out in the evening. I am not bothered about anywhere too lively, i would prefer somewhere more chilled out xxx.

I am 23 years old (Indian national) and want a month-long vacation in Europe around September and October (Is that the right season?????) - maybe I go in an off-season (lol). I just confirmed I am eligible for Youth Pass - I would like to use it for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

I need a one-stop resource for Budget hotels (not Hostels or B&B's) at around $30-60 per day (Is it possible??) around Eurail destinations - also, I prefer Vegetarian food (How to arrange?)

Any help or inputs would be appreciated - thanks.
