Going to school for massage therapy this fall, and my ideal job would be to work on a cruise, I love to travel and think that this would be a lot of fun. Curious if it'll be hard to find a position on a cruise? Has anyone worked on one before, if so what is it like? Is it generally good pay? Nice sleeping arangements? Do you get to travel, or are you stuck on the boat the entire time? Any info would help me out alot, to help me look forward to going to college! Thanks!

I am going on a short (3 day) cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. Anyone know if there is a casino on these boats so I can feed my gambling addiction?

We will be in Aruba for one day and are trying to decide what to do. We are cruising in and were thinking of renting a car. Has anyone done this or have any other ideas?

We are cruising Royal Caribbean (Adventure of the Seas).

As soon as the cruise ship sails away from the harbour, if there are any crimes taking place the captain doesn't need to report them! It's a very frightening thought - I will never go on a cruise, not that I liked the thought of one any way but now I know this, I WILL never go on a cruise. What do you think?

go on a cruise? After all the negative press lately about cruise lines, are any of you afraid to go on one? Or on another one? I'm going on Princess in September, and am a little nervous after hearing about the Crown Princess tipping to the left hand side. I'm going on the Caribbean Princess, a different ship, but it is still Princess Cruise lines, and the boats are almost identical in size. However, maybe after this recent incident Princess will be the safest cruise line to travel on??? What do you think?

We are sailing the south Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Marteen, Aruba and leaving from Puerto Rico); has anyone had experience on this liner.

We are used to a smaller cruise and are worried that their are 3500 people on this boat. Please write me a review if you have any experience with this boat.

Thanks.

I want to go on a cruise in august 2007 and don't know which one to go on. I don't want one with a bunch of kids, and I want to go on a really big ship with a casino. I want to go to mexico and would like to go for longer than 3 nights.. which cruise line would be the best for me. I live in texas and would have to fly to wherever it departs from.

Based on the recent stories and events in the cruise ship industry;
from murder to mayhem, has the negative publicity caused you to cancel or rethink cruising all together?

I currently own a 49' trawler and am making plans to cruise it full-time for several years. The desired cruise would start in January 2007 in Texas and continue into Mexico, Central and S. America, Trinidad, the Islands and returning to Florida. I am looking for an experienced cruising partner or couple to share this experience and some of the expenses.

I would appreciate suggestions and ideas on how to locate people who would be interested in such a trip, are knowledgeable in all aspects of blue water cruising, plus possess the right character traits (honest, flexible, adventurous, responsible, easy-going, etc.).

Also, I would appreciate any comments regarding specific experience, knowledge or traits I should be looking for in a cruising partner. For example, I am sure that speaking spanish would be a desireable asset.

I look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions. Thank you.

Fiancee wants a Balcony...Do you think it's really worth it to spend the extra money for the room?

Are the honeymoon amentities worth it ? I've seen like for $450 you can get champagne, strawberries, massage, etc....

Thoughts, suggestions, and ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Disney???? Just for kids? Or ok for honeymooners? Disney offer Land and Cruise specials???? We will either spend 4 days in Disney world before or after depending on when are cruise disembarks.
