Say you want to go to Hawaii...would you rather cruise to and around Hawaii or fly there and lounge on the island?

I read an article in the paper yesterday that said in the last year 4 people have disappered from Royal Caribbean cruise ships....2 in the Mediterrean, and 2 in the Bahamas. It sounded like all 4 disapperaed while the ship was cruising in the ocean, not while docked in one of the ports of call. I've got my own conspiracy theory going, that possibly the person responible is an employee? If not, and it's a passenger, wouldn't the cruse line have a small list of suspects? All they would have to do is check the crew and passenger lists of all four cruises to find the person, right? What do you all think? 4 people in one year all from the same cruise line seems a bit suspicious to me.......

I am going on my 3rd cruise in September and I was wondering how many people like them as much as me and my husband do? We are going to Mexico, Hondouras, Belize and Grand Caymen on this one and we've also been to St. Thomas and St. Martin, Puerto Rico, Jamacia and Cozumel, Mexico. What did you find good about them and what didn't you like? Why did you choose a cruise?

Who has the best offers for military? Or is there another way to see all the islands without going on the major cruiselines(Carnival, NCL, Celebrity, etc). I heard the best way to travel all the islands is indeed to travel through a cruise... but if you have better ideas let me know. As I said also let me know the best cruise options. I am deploying in September and want to take my wife to Hawaii when I get back. Thanks!

Please settle a dispute - I say £5,000 could buy a world cruise - my partner thinks this is not enough - anyway which would you choose - we don't want to travel with very young or very old.

How is the ship in general? Did you enjoy it? Was it relaxing? What came in above expectations? What came in below expectations? What about it was the most enjoyable?

I'm not really a dress gal, but we are going to the Captain's Dinner during a cruise we're going on in March. I have found several very dressy/formal pant/shirt outfits that look great. Does anyone know what the dress code is with the dinner and if that type of outfit would be permissible? Thank you!

I'm talking just a simple ship cruise, not one of those fancy $10,000 a ticket casino vacation cruise ships. Because I am terrified of airplanes, and a boat is obviously the only other means of traveling to europe, but I dont want to pay for two vacations.

So is it possible for me to do that? Or will I have to somehow grow fins and just swim there? (because a plane is NOT an option, if I get on one again, I will probably have a panic attack and start screaming and make the news because I caused the plane to have to make an emergency landing to let me out)

My hubby and I are having a night-before-we-leave-and-we're-stressed-out argument. Do you bring towels on a cruise ship? I think it's like a hotel and they supply them. He does not. Who's right?

We are planning a cruise wedding for next year! So hard to make a decision which cruise companies to go with. Is it better to book on your own? or via a travel agent, and why? Thanks!

I wonder about the security of bringing a new digital camera on a 7 Day Cruise to the south Carribean. I worry about someone going out of their way to steal it! You hear all this negative stuff about the security on crusises....Is this something I should worry about?

It's a Royal Carribean - Adventure of the Seas.

I have an older digi but want to get a nice one for some better pictures.

It would be one-way only, and takes about three weeks. it is also more expensive than the average cruise. One cruise line ran it in 2005 and then discontinued it. Any one have any info on other, similar cruises?
