We cruised the Western Caribbean in January 2005. The weather was nice in Costa Maya and Belize and Cozumel. It got a little cool at night while at sea. The seas were rough around Grand Cayman and we were not able to go there.

I went on a cruise in January once and it was cold. Our ship departed from Florida and it was cold until we got well past the Bahamas almost to St Thomas. When we cruised back, it was very cool on the ship's private island in the Bahamas. So much so that most people did not get in the water.
I suggest that if you want to do a winter cruise that you do one that starts in Puerto Rica and goes to the southern caribbean where it will still be pretty warm. Also remember that while the US and north America is in Winter, South America is having summer, so consider a South AMerican cruise, or a cruise through the Panama canal, or a cruise around HAwaii.
NCL does HAwaii, and bunch of lines do PAnama and South AMerica.

Cruise administration has merely one pastime. to save the speed at a particular aspect. in case your tires hit ice and yoru wheels commence to spin, the cruise administration will save the gas engaged and could likely follow better ability. This makes it very demanding to get better. in case you do not employ cruise administration and your vehicle hits an ice patch, the first element you do is take your foot off the gas properly? You dont' hit the brakes, your do not floor the gas. Cruise administration is like hitting the gas on ice. I merely use cruise administration in the wintry climate at the same time as the roads are sparkling.

Bahamas. My fam & I were planning the same thing for the same time but it is more expensive than we thought b/c of the holidays. Maybe in Jan it won't be so bad. We decided on the Keys instead.
