I am going on my 3rd cruise in September and I was wondering how many people like them as much as me and my husband do? We are going to Mexico, Hondouras, Belize and Grand Caymen on this one and we've also been to St. Thomas and St. Martin, Puerto Rico, Jamacia and Cozumel, Mexico. What did you find good about them and what didn't you like? Why did you choose a cruise?

I'd never been on a cruise til recently and I think I definately would like to do that again. The food was really good, the service, the entertainment and not having to worry about anything...was really great. I could have a couple of drinks and not worry about driving. Everything I needed or wanted was right there on the ship. If I got the midnight munchies there was a buffet somewhere on board.I took Royal Carribean this time... I think the next time I go I'd like to choose another cruise line like Disney or Carnival...

I absolutely LOVE cruises! I've been on a Carnival Cruise to the Caribbean and it's absolutely fantastic. Other than the food being great and the tons of activities that you get to do (and that's only on *one* ship), there's that specially unmistakable feeling that you get when you're travelling by sea and it varies with everyone. For some, it may the adventurous sort, sort of like journeying out into the ocean blue; and for some, it be a wonderful relaxing experience, floating amongst the waves.

So, I guess the cruise experience is that special because of that abstract subjective sensation that every cruiser gets, from all the entertainment on board and the feeling of "sailing the ocean blue."

I first went on a cruise as a cabin mate for my friend, who's cousin was being married on the ship. I didn't really think about cruising before then, b/c I thought it was too expensive. I am DEFINITELY hooked now tho. I had a great time with Royal Caribbean, and am planning another cruise next year to Alaska. It would be nice to spend longer in port but I like the cruising experience.

I've never been on a cruise.
Everyone I know who has been on one, loves it and has gone back multiple times to various places.

I sometimes worry about the contagiousness of viruses etc. when they say there was some sort of sickness, but have never known anyone personally who was sick or knew of someone who was sick.

I like all inclusive resorts, so I imagine a cruise is similar plus you get to go to multiple places.

Bottom line : I think it comes down to loving the company you are with and making the most of every situation --- yet picking destinations that are mutually interesting.

I'm hoping someday to take an Alaskan cruise.

I haven't yet been on one...but I do plan to go. I have traveled alot out of state and the country though...My mother-in-law goes on a couple cruises a year and loves them........I know she likes it because of being all-inclusive..well except for alcohol...and being able to see a few different places on each cruise. Not like just flying somewhere and seeing just that one place. She loves the different port-of-calls and buys something at each one....have a great trip, My husband and I just came back from Cancun,Mexico....we loved it. We have also been to Aruba, and Tahiti/Bora Bora....both are wonderful....

Hey there, went on my first cruise last summer to Northern Europe on Golden Princess. I LOVED it! We went to 6 different countries in 11 days. Waking up every morning with a different view out of our balcony window was wonderful too....we never knew what to expect (a friend of mine went with me from school). I hope to go on another one, maybe for a honeymoon whenever I get married, but I can't afford them if I pay for it myself. This was a college graduation present from my family. I am going to Scotland & Ireland next year but on an escorted tour which is much cheaper, and I get to see more stuff. =) Have fun on your cruise!
PS-I only got sea sick one day when we were in the North Sea. They had to drain the swimming pools on the boat that day as well. I took two dramamine and fell asleep until dinner. =)

I have never been to one so I would like to try. But all my friends that been to one said they would not do it again. They said the people on the cruise are mostly unpleasent and rude. They would rather just fly to the location and get a hotel room.

I love cruises because you can see so much in such little time and you're NEVER bored!!! For some reason one of the highlights were the dinners. I liked getting dressed up!

I LOVE cruises!!! You get to sample a few different places all in one trip! Since the food is included in price, I know I can stick to my budget!
