Who has the best offers for military? Or is there another way to see all the islands without going on the major cruiselines(Carnival, NCL, Celebrity, etc). I heard the best way to travel all the islands is indeed to travel through a cruise... but if you have better ideas let me know. As I said also let me know the best cruise options. I am deploying in September and want to take my wife to Hawaii when I get back. Thanks!

Carnival gives a very nice military discount to AD, Retiress AND Veterans.. all you need is a DD-214 showing at least 2 years honorable service or a current ID. But not all sailings have them, and there are limited numbers available.

OR you could utilize the Hale Koa, the DoD run resort in Waikiki on Ft DeRussy. rates are based on paygrade, and are loads cheaper than anywhere else in Waikiki. There is also another resort on Maui or the Big Island, I think..

certain ships and sail dates have military rates....BUT be CAREFUL...not all military rates are the cheapest. for instance, I just booked a trip for a client, the ship had military rates for the date he chosen, the military rate was actually 200.00 higher than another promotion the cruiseline had. This is why I tell people to not book on the internet, they dont always get the "BEST PRICE". As a travel agent, we are accessable to all the cruise lines promotions and we are familiar with each ship and can tell you the best ship for you and your wife. Not all ships are good for certain people. AND, if the price goes down, a travel agent will adjust accordingly. I Know that I check prices right before final payment, if they go up, we DONT change it, if it goes down, we do. This is something that does not happen if you book from the internet...
Cruising is the best way to see the islands, you will use the ship as your hotel sort of speak. Your meals are included as well as entertainment, and the ships shore excursion desk knows the highlights and can suggest the best ones to you.
