The Queen Mary 2 is a popular choice and is cheaper than some listed above. Check out this webpages and scroll down until you see "world cruise".
They have varying prices: £4699 +, and varying amount of days gone. My aunt went on the Queen Mary 2 and absolutely loved it. She went to Europe.

Go to www.vacationstogo.com and see if you can get a good rate there. I think that what you are saying and from what I have read, you are looking at about $10,000-15,000 per person and about 180 days. I could be wrong about the price and time but go to that site and look at it there. If you book from that site, it will be discounted and cheaper than booking with the different cruise lines themselves.
I have been on 2 cruises and am booked for my 3rd in Sept. and I have gone on Holland America and Carnival. Those are in both ends of the spectrum. Holland America was nicer but a lot of older people on board. Carnival was more laid back and had a lot of younger people on board. I am 33, not old but not young, and for me and my husband, we go on Carnival because of the price.

I checked one on a P&O ship for someone for early 2008 and the prices started from approx £7500 for an 80 night cruise and they got £500 each free on board credit. There could be cheaper lines though?

There is two or three routes availible from Germany or the U.K.
they are all large container ships, two of which have swimming
pools, trips either Via Suez Canal, or Panama Canal but always to the Far East, with various ports of call.It seems as though the
journey time varies, between 25 & 40 days,it also seems as though the prices vary between 7000 & 9000 Euros.
I travelled home from Canada last year Montreal,& it was fantastic, especially if you like asian cuisine.
please contact me if you wish to know more.
