I have been to ths southern Caribbean twice, but of the islands you mentioned I only went to Barbados. That island was very nice and I want to go back there again. We also went to Antigua, Grenada and St Lucia on our cruises. All of the islands have great beaches and different kinda sights to see. One of these days I hope to get a cruise that stops in Martinique.

I've been to St. Maartin and Barbados on a cruise, but not Martinique. Barbados was very urban feeling through the city. The industrialized side was not appealing AT ALL. But, I hear the resorts and golf courses are amazing, wealthy & luxurious. After all, it's where Tiger Woods got married, and I'm guessing his wedding wasn't trashy.
I don't remember too much of St. Maartin as we didn't venture too far from the boat. I had friends robbed at gunpoint there once so I was sketchy about leaving the main area. THe beach actually looked nice, except for the people pushing you to buy stuff every 5 minutes. Hard to relax when they do that.

Of your record, I even have basically been to St. Thomas. i actually exchange into no longer too into the buying there. that's probable a large place to save in case you're finding out to purchase high priced jewels or dressmaker issues, yet no longer so large for souvenirs. What I enjoyed approximately St. Thomas exchange into taking the Skyride as much as this extreme lookout factor and bar. The frozen beverages are spectacular and there are such multiple large photograph possibilities overlooking the water and St. Thomas. i could advise that. via the way, i'm in my early 30's.

I've been to St. Martin twice. I loved the shore excursion where you were able to participate in the Americus Cup racers as a crew member. The shopping was very affordable on the Dutch side. We also have visited the French side. We took a tour of the harbor and shopped on the French side. It was more expensive on the French side, but fun to shop there, too.
