I always get the verandah with my room. To me, there is nothing more relaxing (romantic) than sitting out on your private verandah and having nothing to do. Start the day out with a cup of coffee (or whatever you enjoy) out on the balcony, just to relax and prepare for the day. Then, you can end the day sitting out there, watch the sunset and then just watch the waves roll at the side of the cruise. Nothing but the moon light and the lights from the ship lighting the water. It is absolutely beautiful and there is no better way to relax.
If you don't want to spend the extra money on the verandah, I would at least do the port hole. You go on a cruise to be on the water, so you at least want to be able to see it from your room. Plus, the light that you will get in the room is nicer than have a dark room the whole time, you know what time of day it is and everything. I had some friends that went with an inside stateroom and slept in really late every day because there was no window. I feel the window makes the room feel a little larger as well. The verandah is also great to get some fresh air.
The honemoon packages are usually a good deal, you just have to see what that particular line offers. Usually it is a really great deal, you get to do a couple of nice things together.
Disney is actually my favorite line. Quite a few people do go on Disney even without kids. It is a great line with really great service, nice onboard activities, etc. For the price, you get a wonderful cruise. Obviously it is going to have more kids than some more expensive lines, but they will be in the kids programs a lot, so you don't see them as often as you may think. Certain things like character meet and greets, shows, etc. are when you will see more kids. Go for the late dining, it tends to have fewer kids. They also have several adult only areas as well as activities. If you like Disney, you will love the cruise. I am a huge Disney fan and every time I see the shows onboard, I get goosebumps, they are so great. They are the best shows on the sea, to me. The service is really unbeatable, and the other reason I love Dinsey.
You may consider doing just the sea portion of your cruise with Disney Cruise line. If you do your land portion seperate, you can get the dining package, it is a really great deal and you get special meals that you will remember for ever. Since you are going on your honeymoon, I think it would be really nice.
As far as other lines. Royal Caribbean is a nice line, it will be a little less than Disney and is pretty popular with families. Carnival is also going to be less, but not one of my favorite lines, if you are wanting to drink, party and have a good time, than Carnival would be a good choice. If you are wanting to spend a little more, than lines like Princess, Celebrity, Crystal, etc. are all good.
Two final recommendations, this site: http://cruisecritic.com/ is great for reviews and information on different lines and ships. It is one of the best sources for cruising. Second, you should really consider using a travel agent. If you really want to make this trip as special as you can and something that you will never forget, a travel agent will be able to help you with that. They know little secrets and have ideas that you may not think of. And, their knowledge of cruising is priceless. Most agents will run the same price as what you can get with the cruise line and sometimes you will be able to find lower rates, but either way it will be really helpful.
Congratulations on your honeymoon!
I hope this helps!

A lot depends on what you both like to do. Do you like sports then Royal Caribbean offers rock wall climbing, miniature golf, inline skating and more plus all the entertainment many other cruise lines offer. If you are a kid at heart, like to be around kids, love Disney then a Disney land & cruise would be a fantastic choice. If you want a more relaxed cruise then Princess Cruise Lines may be your style. Each cruise line has something different to offer. We have a certified honeymoon specialist on staff so if you are interested in working with us please contact us via email or visit our website at bctravelcompany.com . We also offer some great discount cruise packages through our online booking partner, Joystar. I think you would enjoy a balcony room very much and we are running a special until the end of the month where if you choose a balcony you can receive a $75 ship board credit and you would also be able to sign up for our free honeymoon registry on twotowed.net.

Royal Caribbean leaves out of Port Carnival, the same as Disney. I think you'll have a ship full of kids if you go with Disney, and that's not much of a honeymoon. I have been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Royal Caribbean is probably your best bet for a honeymoon. The ships are much nicer, the ambiance is great, the food is wonderful, and it's more romantic. A Balcony room is excellent. It's worth it to make your honeymoon enjoyable. There are many different amenity packages that you can get on RC. Instead of an expensive bottle of Champagne you could order a glass of wine with each dinner. Be sure to do the Wine Tasting, it's great. The massages and spa treatments are completely worth the price too. Enjoy your trip!

Don't go on Disney. There are too many annoying kids on board. I love Royal Caribbean. Their ships have everything, even a skating rink and a climbing wall. Fastastic. A balcony is worth it if you are going to the Carib. or someplace warm and exotic. You can get meals served on your balcony free of charge. I suggest you book through a travel agent. They do not charge you a penny and they can give you a great deal of valuable information.

I'm not sure there are any. There are many books written on the dark side of the cruise industry and I would suggest you do some research.
