I love moving around and I work in the hotel industry so I can get a transfer to most major cities. I lived in Banff for a bit and a few smaller towns around the country. Where would be the a fun, new place to live and work for a bit?

(not for drinking or anything) (and from getting pulled over again), if I move to Canada, can I get a Driver's liscence again? Also if I have a warrant for a non-appearance for this issue . . will it be irrelevant in Canada? I think my passport is expired, . . . would the warrant (misdemeanor) pose any obstacle to getting a new passport? HEY ! I Don't even need a passport for Canada . . . Do I ?

It is Stampede time in Calgary. Have you ever been? Do you live in Calgary? It is touted as the greatest outdoor show on earth. I find it to be just a royal ripoff for local bars. People watching is interesting though. And you can't beat a man in tight jeans and a plaid shirt!!!

For those that don't understand the question and answer questions with a questions. I will break the question down for you. I am trying to move to Canada. It's impossible to live on a bridge. You have to cross that bridge located in Detroit, Michigan in order to ENTER Canada. I was told it was currently closed so no more U.S. Citizens can move there. I would like to know if it is opened. If you can answer my question properly I would appreciate the help. I am trying to relocate there. Thank you

I am moving from Vancouver to Ottawa the end of August. I was looking at having someone move my stuff for me, but this is far too expensive. I am now looking at sending some stuff by Canada Post and then renting a truck (from Budget or National) to drive the bigger stuff home.

I live in a one bedroom and it is pretty packed with stuff. A lot will get thrown out during packing, so not TOO much stuff to move.

Does anyone have any experiences with the drive across Canada? How much will the truck rental cost? What is the best company to use?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I will be leaving for Canada in a week. Would someone please let me know where is the best place to have my money exchanged? Should I do it at the San Francisco/Canada airport, a local bank in USA/Canada, or are there better places to get the money exchanged? Please advise. Thank you!!
