(not for drinking or anything) (and from getting pulled over again), if I move to Canada, can I get a Driver's liscence again? Also if I have a warrant for a non-appearance for this issue . . will it be irrelevant in Canada? I think my passport is expired, . . . would the warrant (misdemeanor) pose any obstacle to getting a new passport? HEY ! I Don't even need a passport for Canada . . . Do I ?

pblcbox is way wrong and I think he knows it. Canada is not monitored for immigrants . . .I saw this on TV. There are numerous places where you can just drive through. I remembered this after I asked the question. So everything he tries to build upon to make it sound even difficult, let alone impossible, is BS. Don't know why he'd feel inclined to lie.

So the only thing now that I want to know . .FROM SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS . . .is my faint concern that there may be some bit of paperwork in getting the Driver's Liscence.

To add to the previous post, you can't just move to Canada. You need to get permission from their government to immigrate there. If you don't, you'll just be an illegal alien.

I hate to be the one to tell you, but Canada WILL run a background check on you when you attempt to cross the border. Anyone with an outstanding warrant - felony or otherwise - may be turned back at the border automatically, and it's entirely possible that they'll label you "persona non grata", which means you won't be allowed into the country there again.

Take care of your problems here in the USA before trying to head to Canada - otherwise, you might find that you've got a whole new load of problems to contend with as well.

oh so you want to sneak across the boarder!!! I have a better suggestion- clean up your legal problems.
If you sneak through the boarder (which is not as easy as you think it is) you will be put in jail. If you try to go through a crossing you will be detained and handed over to the US police. So my advice is to pay your tickets and get your licence back otherwise your life will get much much more complicated.
