It's ok...I personally think for a country known for its natural beauty, were not at all environmentally friendly.
BC and Alberta are the two best province for everything. They both have booming economies and beautiful scenery.
More non-english speaking people move to Ontario, while most english speaking Canadians are moving out west to on of those two provinces.
And the whole thing about snow up here all the time is just a myth.
We average the same temperatures as most of the Northern US.

Living in Canada is awesome. It is environmentally friendly, and working hard at being even better. The people are friendly, not as status-conscious as in some other countries, and much more open.
Canada prides itself on being a multicultural nation -- it's a different approach than the US, which prides itself on being a melting pot. That means that in Canada, the various cultural groups are encouraged to preserve their individual identities, rather than blending all in together. It makes for colourful cities, with small ethnic centres for the different groups. Lots of fun for tourists!
Canadians are rated among the world's healthiest and the most fit, because they are very active and enthusiastic about sports --indoor and out.
How about coming up and having a look for yourself?

I now live in Banff, such a beautiful place. I definitely recommend spending summer in this small town. There are loads of activities to do such as hiking, white water rafting, cliff diving, golf, loads of sports (yoga, basketball, baseball, dancing), in the winter snowboarding, dog sledding, iceskating, etc. There is also an active nightlife here. There are loads of jobs, and the living expenses are relatively low compared to other parts of Canada. Plus taxes here are very low, and everyone here is friendly so settling into a new place is much easier.
You dont need a car, you can bike around town, or walk and there is always something to do. Lake Louise is just 45 minutes away and Calgary about an hour and a half.
Banff is more environmentall friendly than other locations in Canada for obvious reasons!
Hope this helps!

I love living in Canada! We live in British Columbia on the ocean and it is the warmest (yearly overal) temperature in Canada. People are friendly. But It's a huge country, there are jerks everywhere.
As far as environment goes, better than some countries worse then others.

There's pollution and stuff like that. The people there a generally nice. The half French half English Canadians have really good senses of humor. Life there? I dunno. I live there and my life is pretty normal I guess. all I really do is eat, play outside, do chores, play outside, do sports, play instruments, play outside cook and sleep. And of course school and friends. The weather's pretty normal, at least in BC. And there are people here from all over the world. So overall Canada is an okay country. But just okay.
