We have been told that registers in the floors may cause soft spots due to the fact that the manufacturers have to frame around the ductwork and registers. We have found some models that do not have the floor registers. What is better ? We are looking to travel with the trailer across the United States and Canada and are looking for quality

want to move myself, hubby and 4 kids to Canada for good. When we called the application to emigrate up on internet, having looked through it, it states that the application itself can take up to 4 years unless you are applying to be with your spouse/children etc.

Like, is there a part of Canada were other Canadians consider them something like what we consider rednecks in the south, or hillbillys, whatever you wanna call it.

I'm really getting sick and tired of these Anti American comments and answers coming from Canadians. Often on the Canadian Answers forums, a person asks a question like "Do Canadians live in igloos and do they have water?" or something stupid like that. Of course we all know the asker is being silly and is obviously only doing it for a response.

But people (Canadians) actually respond to it in a serious tone with answers like "I feel sorry for Americans, there so dumb" or "I had a friend who worked at the border and she saw Americans coming though in July with skis on the roof asking were the nearest ski slopes are" or "innocent poor Americans".

I'm getting tired of it. In my town in NC, we love Canada and speak fondly of it and love it when there people come down here. But they talk about us in such nasty ways, and degrading ways. The ski thing in July stories are getting old and I don't beilive them at all.

Has anyone else noticed this, and is anyone getting sick of this?

Jeezuz peezuz it's so annoying. All the products in the grocery market is in french and english, all the fast food places have to put french and on everything. And the beauty products is a nightmare. The directions are all squished onto the back of the bottle or whatever it is, to make room for the french and you can barely read it since it's so small. And it MUST be the same size as the english as well.

And when you go to Quebec . . . EVERYTHING is in french. no english to be seen. SOME products have to have the french and english in quebec grocery stores, but the english is allowed to be smaller, about 10x smaller, if not left out all together.

I don't live in Canada, but I have family there and I've visited a couple times. Was in Toronto for 2 weeks in summer, and gosh it reallly bugged me! But that's besides the point . . . does it annoy you?
