I used to live in Saskatoon, now living in Germany, and it has to be one of the most beautiful cities in Canada (next to Vancouver). There is actually lots of things to do and see, Saskatoon Western Development Museum, Wanuskewin Heritage Park (6000 years of First Nations People), U of S, Cranberry Flats just to name a few. I am from Saskatoon, but I live in Calgary now. I always say that Calgary is like Saskatoon except bigger! Both cities are pretty and clean with lots of culture. I'm not sure about the employment prospects in Saskatoon, but know that Calgary is begging for people to work! The cost of living is higher in Calgary, which makes Saskatoon a more desirable place to live and raise a family, especially if you want to buy your own home. I would recommend Saskatoon as a place to live, based on this very big factor. Good Luck in wherever you go!
