Look at this question:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApZuqMH5vWWXg8QJHXYXRCNIzKIX?qid=20060809160821AAoz4Gg

That question was entitled "Whats the funniest thing an American has said to you"

Half of the answers say stuff like "I had an American ask me where the nearest ski resort is ... in July"

I don't beilive most of it. I'm sure some of them are true, but no one asks if there is a ski resort within 10 miles, during mid summer. no one does that.

The one that made me laugh was the one choosen as best answer:
"I was asking for direction in Buffalo and once he found out that I am from Canada, he asked me how the Tim Horton's coffee tastes like. he got my promise to bring him Tim's coffee next time I drove to Buffalo! or he wont give me the direction :) "

That's funny because Buffalo has had Tim Hortons for the past 10 years, and has more Tim Hortons than any other American city.

I find Canadians are mean to Americans. Do you agree?

I've been hearing this on the radio all today about the americans wanting/going to test weapons along the great lakes..
its their coast guard i guess...

i live along lake ontario.. and i really dont' like the idea of them testing weapons all willy nilly along the lakes..
what do you think? should we put a stop to them..? or just let them do what they want?

they're going to do what they want anyways right?

Well every time a immigration subject comes up about america and the mexican people you always get one canadian that tries to bs there way into saying that they wish canada would build a wall so americans wouldnt come in? Are you kidding me we hardly cost your goverment anything trust me we dont come in record numbers and as far as anything i can see Canada which i have been to many times such as Regina and winnipeg and toronto, doesnt support much of anything of american population as far as illegal immigration and if you want my personal thoughts its the indians that are costing you quite heafty money. Why would i want to move where people have to pay high taxi money or get on a bus that comes every 15 minutes because the majority of that population specially that **** hole Regina cant afford to drive. Welfare day is like a freaking holiday there everybody eats out and shops on that day that is sad. Now i know not all canada is like this so.. My point is what if any reason do you

It really doesn't make sense to me, why Canada has Thanksgiving in October and not Nobember? We drove nearly 4 hours yesterday from Akron, Ohio to Windsor, Ontario Canada (it's basically the Canadian part of Detroit), to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with our relatives who live there. We go every year, but they have only come down once in the past 5 years for our Thanksgiving. Well I'm thankful I have my laptop and my ipod since there is nothing to do in this town but look across the river at Detroit's boring skyline and that GM building that looks like a penis with 4 balls. 2 more days to go. urgh.

But anyways, WHY do they have it in October? Like it's the same thing with turkey and stuffing and pumpkin pie and all that. Why can't they just have it when we have it? Makes logical sense to me.
