Here's the scenario. My friend was given a tourist visa which is valid for only six months and the expiration date would be on March 19, 2007. But her vacation leave will start on March 15. Lets say she will leave the country on that date. Do you think the consul would still allow her to enter Canada? I need straight answer please.

I'm talking about a cute town that's got all the sports like snowboarding and mountain biking, and isn't too expensive, but is high class, and fun to live in.

In Canada, when a job adverts says theyre looking for 'servers' , does this mean waiter/waitress..or could server also refer to someone just at the cash register. It doesnt say the company so it doesnt say whether its a restaurant or not...just says server.
thanks

Are they planning on having stricter border laws due to terrorism? I'm not up to date on these kinds of things. I might be visiting Canada next summer, just want to be prepared in getting passport ahead of time incase it is required.

I have read Canadians do not give a chance to professional
immigrants to get jobs in their field of expertise.

I always new Canada was a friendly, cultural and open society but
I have read websites as notcanada.com and canadaimmigrants.com where they paint the Canadian Market
as racist and local. Using words as "Canadian Experience"
and "Regulated Professions" Canada denies job to a lot
of people.

I suppose if you apply for an executive corporate job "Canadian Experience" is important but I was wondering about other clerical
jobs is it the same?

Also seems than in Europe and USA the IT market is always open
would be the same case in Canada or is it ruled for the same trends mentioned above?

Any comments?
