We would like to be somewhere friendly and with plenty to do for both us and the children who are toddlers. But we would like for them to go several years for a montjh or more. Also if they could learn a language while practicing their english it could be great.

I need to ship a dog from Indianapolis to Windsor Ontario. Does anyone know of an airport that is close to Windsor? United goes to Toronto, but it is about 200 miles from Windsor. Detroit is too far for her to travel as well. Air Canada is not taking any transfers from United right now. This boy has to go in an extra large crate. He weighs about 90 pounds.

Having palced BC on a short list of places to relocate to, I have unearthed some interesting facts in my research. There is apparently an issue regarding air pollution in certain parts of the BC Interior.
Having spent some time in Victoria BC, I was quite surprised at this disclosure, having always regarded BC as a pristine province in the main.
I would be interested to hear of any informed comments on this matter.

Ive lived in Detroit my entire life. After going to Toronto a few months ago I was blown away by the overall quality of living in Canada. Since then ive been considering moving out there once I get done with school (im getting into firefighting), but I still dont know as much as I would like before making such a big move. I know about the free health care, overall nicer society, and more liberal way of life in Canada. I also know that taxes are much higher (thats about the only downside ive heard so far). Can anyone give me some concrete pros and cons about joining my neighbors to the north, as well as some good cities to consider?
