muncipal voting?

do you care about the municpal votes?
how old are you?

i'm just curious about age ranges and who actually cares about the muncipal voting thats coming up soon...
monday i guess it is..

i'm 26.. and i care so i'll make sure i vote on monday

I'm 42 and excise my right to vote in all elections and always have since I was old enough to vote. Interesting thing though, in the last municipal election. I was standing in a huge line of people. It really didn't take long, but enough time for me to look around. I felt YOUNG. I figured there was only one person in line that was younger than me. She was there with her mom. And the rest looked 10 to 20 plus years older.

My choice to vote means I look at least a little into the issues and who is running. Sometimes a lot, sometimes a little. But at least enough to know if someone agrees with major issue I do, or tends to think the way I do on minor issues, or if they have the right kind of experience.

I'm 35, and I've never voted in a municipal election simply because I don't follow all the info and the people who are running. It's not always well published. If I don't know what I'm voting for - I don't vote. Out here in BC we don't have any elections coming up. Monday is a stat for Rememberance Day.

I am 53 and have voted in every election since Trudeau when I was 18 ( voted against his party ) Every voice needs to be heard, and should learn enough to make a reasonable choice. Municipal elections are very important, because these are members of your community, and probably the only politicians that you will meet, or go to for help. They are the first line of government, and effect your day-to-day life.
