Well every time a immigration subject comes up about america and the mexican people you always get one canadian that tries to bs there way into saying that they wish canada would build a wall so americans wouldnt come in? Are you kidding me we hardly cost your goverment anything trust me we dont come in record numbers and as far as anything i can see Canada which i have been to many times such as Regina and winnipeg and toronto, doesnt support much of anything of american population as far as illegal immigration and if you want my personal thoughts its the indians that are costing you quite heafty money. Why would i want to move where people have to pay high taxi money or get on a bus that comes every 15 minutes because the majority of that population specially that **** hole Regina cant afford to drive. Welfare day is like a freaking holiday there everybody eats out and shops on that day that is sad. Now i know not all canada is like this so.. My point is what if any reason do you

ya bla bla bla come on there are wars and prej all over people been taking land sinse day one! What if what if what if
what if nobody had beat the roman empire what should we start supporting all the romans to? Come on this is a act that was engaged by war. As far as white indian or black chinese its the same all around the world. The indian which im not prej because i was involved with one but the indian in canada or united states does not need that extra push with benifits they need to fend for themselves just like everybody else it is no longer the day where we sit there and shoot there buffalo skinned tent down and rape and murder them.. This stuff hardly if ever happens anymore. Its like saying a man who was thrown in jail who was not in fault deserves to eat away at my tax dollars as a way of making things up for that individual. What rights do they or anybody else have to have it better then the next individual? Get real lol

Ok, I'm Canadian and I really don't give a damn who comes here or who leaves here! As far as "the indians" go, which "indians" are you talking about? The people from India are the only "indians" I can think of here and they seem to have great culture and strong family values! If you are refering to the Native population in Canada, then you have a twisted sense of what's right and wrong!! This land was STOLEN from the people who were here first, as was the american land! They have every right to be supported by the Canadian goverment because their entire way of life was squashed when all those greedy white foreigners showed up here. Almost every native nation in Canada was oppressed and put into some sort of religious fellowship, They were taught that they were the bottom of the barrel and they had no rights here, ON THEIR OWN DAMN LAND!!
Now I don't have a clue what sent you on a rant about Canada and certain Canadian commentors, but maybe you should re-think what you put out there, because it seems to me that you may very well be another dumb american!

I've only heard of the american government wanting to put a wall up, along the Mexican border.
Sure there are Canadians that want nothing to do with the US, but do they really affect you?
And how to you associate people taking a cab or bus to be on welfare? Anyone with half a brain would dump there car and find an alternative way to get around.

Well I don't really care if Americans come in as long as they respect our culture and don't act like they are honoring us with their presents. My father immigrated to Canada from the US and I like him.
Please do not compare Regina to the rest of Canada. Regina is a hole.
Hey I don't mind paying taxes if I am getting something for it. Like my medical. I really would rather it didn't go to the Native drinking fund though. XXwhatever your name is one of those naive the natives are so hard done by people. Yeah a lot were quite along time ago. The British took over. Suck it up. They aren't getting their land back. I don't agree that because your Great grandmother went to residential school and got smacked by a nun that I personally have to pay for it. I lived in a Native community and saw the horrors and atrocities that they commit on each other and particularly their children. I have met some wonderful Native people who have taken advantege of the free education and have done something with themselves. It is pathetic to set and wollow about who hundreds of years ago the white people took over and how you wish you wher still wearing a loin cloth running through the woods hunting for bear so you can take it back to your wigwam, beat your woman and smoke the pipe and hope you don't all starve and freeze to death next winter. They certainly didn't have it any harder then the African American people who were slaves and they don't get handout for the next 400 years for it.
Sorry that woman just pissed me off.

Why don't you take a deep breath, ......there.
Now since you have all the answers, why bother asking the question.
In answer to your question (I think there was one in there...SOMEWHERE...) Canadians don't want Americans in because there are miserable people like you are uneducated about Canada and sit around ranting about how Canada sucks and the US rules and all that garbage.
Don't be a hypocrite, Canada feels the same way about the US as the US feels about Mexico, even though Mexicans have done so much for your country (doing all the things that uppity Americans wouldn't dare to do, like -"Oh My God"- cleaning YOUR OWN damn house!) and Americans have done so much for Canada, (imports/exports and all that economy stuff!)
You love your country, good for you now do us all a favour and go earn some money that great country of yours. But then again you never wanted a real answer, you're just looking for some shitface who feels the same way you do.

how are you able to need a place which you have by no potential been to yet? this is like seeing previews of a movie and you get so excited and prefer it, then you extremely get there and that's a significant sadness through fact it replace into no longer as great as you anticipated it to be. i'm no longer asserting Canada is a foul place. in certainty, I stay her and that i like the organic elegance, the friendly human beings, and our way of existence has considered one of those great sense of humour customarily. yet i think of that somebody could bypass to aspects of Canada first and notice what aspects they like. huge difference once you reside in Vancouver vs. Winnipeg, incredibly while January rolls around! Likewise, huge cultural differences living in Calgary vs Montreal. this is like putting somebody from long island city into the midsection of friendly Prairie, Wisconsin...there will be a mild way of existence ask your self.

I am Canadian and married to an American. I love the US, I love Canada too. I have no problem with any of that stuff. I am going through my own hell with US immigration, and I am married to an American!! You would think that would make things easy.

Why are you putting this blame on ALL candians.......
you're being just as ignorant as accusing ALL Canadians that portray what you have seen.
No country or city or state is perfect....you got the good with the bad........
I dont' know what you are going on and on about.......I go to the U.S all the time......and have tons of family all over......I come into your country with respect and love it there......
And I don't give a damm who comes here or not.......
I think you are highly misinformed........
and for the few people you have witnessed maybe it's just ONE person...........why are you blaming ALL canadians for this?
What about the AWOL Americans who take refuge in Canada?

Build a wall between Canada & the USA? Along the entire border of the country? Well that would just be madness...wouldn't it?? I mean, who would think that a wall would possibly solve any problems? I mean, do we really think that if we build a wall it would solve the problems of immigration, welfare abuse, corrupt politicians, pollution, job losses to overseas relocation, stagnation of the economy and global warming?
Ooops, the Americans do!

Obviously you are pissed off. The problem is you think it is Canada's fault.
The real issue is that the "melting-pot" theory is failing. And yes, most Americans recognize that and are streaming to Canada.
There is that, then there is the "open-borders" theory which is failing you because of outsourcing. Even you constitution is failing you because of the Patriot Act. Oh and do not get me started on the "capitalism", lest I bring up Enron. Oh and finally Democracy is failing you because, heck the judiciary had to elect George W.
US of A joke!
