Looking to emigrate to Canada with husband and 4 children. Seems to be a 4 year waiting list. Any quicker ways as want to settle my children in education while they are still young. Any tips/ideas? would love to chat with anyone in Canada with local knowledge as the more info I have the better. Am so excited but really dont want to wait 4 years - SOB!

One thing you'd better get used to, if you're planning to move to Canada, is being patient and accepting that you can't always get what you want when you feel that you should get it. Having local knowledge about Canada, or contacts in Canada, is not going to speed up the immigration process.

Where are you emigrating from? 4 years seems to be along time to wait. Where in Canada do you wish to move to its a big country. As a former immigrant from the UK I would loveto chat with you about Canada as for local information that depends on where you wish to emigrate to. You would probably be able to chat with people in Canada about canada if you checked out chatrooms at Yahoo.ca
