The problem is that she is filing for permanant residency but will have to travel back into the US for our brothers wedding in June. Is there any rules against this? Has anyone had problems with this? Is there a site that I can look up that will help? Thanks.

I want to renew my Canadian passport which expires in April, 2007. I understand the waiting times are very long due to the new regulations for entry into the U.S. If I am only renewing my passport, do I need to go through the entire process or is sending in my passport for renewal acceptable? Thanks for any information you can provide me.

I want to travel from Maine to Scotland without flying, (for the novelty) and it's getting to Iceland from Canada that is the key. From Iceland there are plenty of boats I can take. I am willing to work on a freighter on my way across if I can just find a way.

Can anyone tell me what kind of health problems could stop
you from being eccepted into Canada do you think? Our points seem good, although i am concerned that a possible heart problem will be considered as a 'turn down' I have to have many check-ups here in England, not with a family doctor but with a specialist. Not confirmed yet.

Does anyone have any knowledge on health and emigration?

This might sound weird, but I live in a city and I don't actually like it, so I want to go to Saskatchewan for my vacation. I like farms and the prairies. I've never been there and I want to go and just get away from the city for a little while. I'm not looking to do touristy things, I just want to be someplace calm. I really like wheat too, so someplace where there is wheat would be nice. And nice people.

looking to emigrate to canada, we would like a small town, quiet but quite near to all amenities (employment, etc) but would like somewhere where there is lots of snow, mountains without it being one of the main tourist places, who better to ask than the locals? saskatchewan seems to have a good feel about it, and alberta, any input would be appreciated, thanks

I am a teacher in Vic Australia. I wish to holiday for 3-6 months in Canada and teach (around xmas 2007). Interested in staying in one location, part or full time job that I can use as a base to travel the country. I'm not sure where to start my search though. Where should I locate? How should I go about job hunting? Where can I stay? When is the best season? I've done the preliminary search online, found: http://jobsearch.educationcanada.com/ but really need advice of where to go next? Holiday out of country novice, should I talk to travel agents? Any help appreciated.

I would like to travel one day, Im just doubtful about whether my expectations of it will be dissapointed when I actaully get there and there will be nothing for me to do. I would'nt want to go around seeing architecture and paintings. Im seventeen, female and like emo/screamo/punk/gothic music.

We hope to plan a trip to nova scotia, with the view of moving there. What part would be the best place to stay? so we can get around easily and visit different parts. Mother in-law and two infants will be with us, so i guess we aught to make a holliday of it. Any advice would be great .
