I'm gonna have to agree with the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario.
If you were going on a vacation, I would totally recommend the Canadian Rockies, but for a research paper/report, there is simply a plethora of information on the CN Tower. Besides, it's the world's tallest free-standing structure on land, which probably makes for a paper with a lot of information that you can use as sources.

Good luck!

Like most great countries in the world there are far too many great ones to choose just one, but I definitely would not choose
Niagara Falls or the CN Tower!!!!!!!!!!
Among the most memorable places for me:
----Fjords of Labrador and Newfoundland
----City of Montréal
----Extreme multicultural experience of Toronto
----National Museum of Art, Ottawa
----Laurentian Plateau wildernesses in Cree country, northern
Quebec
----Vast wheat and cattle lands of Saskatchewan and Alberta
----Cities of Yellowknife and Whitehorse
----Rtes 37/16/97 corridor, B.C.
----Okanagan Valley wine growing area, B.C.
----Vancouver Island, B.C.

The Canal in Ottawa, Ontario is pretty popular.... Unfortunately it seems as though with all this warm weather we're getting this year, the Canal will be closed. Oh well, hopefully next year we will be able to reclaim the title of the largest skating rink in the world.
