Can anyone tell me what kind of health problems could stop
you from being eccepted into Canada do you think? Our points seem good, although i am concerned that a possible heart problem will be considered as a 'turn down' I have to have many check-ups here in England, not with a family doctor but with a specialist. Not confirmed yet.

Does anyone have any knowledge on health and emigration?

It is hard to say how bad your condition is. The standard is under the second point of what they are looking for as far as health goes. As in how much of a burden you will be on the Canadian Health System.

The guidelines are quite vague on what they require of you to pass the medical, and without knowing very much about your condition, I would suggest you read this link to their website. It is frequently asked questions regarding the medical. If you have concerns beyond that, you could try writing to them, although they do firmly advise against applicants writing 'unnecessarily'.

When my husband and I got to the medical stage of our application, we had been contacted by the man processing our application and he gave us his e-mail address. Perhaps you should wait until you have been contacted and then ask your questions.

Good luck!
