I am staying in Melbourne and plan on going to PI. Can I take a bus there? Are there package deals combining tickets and transportation? Or do I have to rent a car to get there?

I can either stop at Warrnambool and drive back to Melbourne, or continue to Adelaide. Any time exploring between Warrnambool & Adelaide will take away from extra time in Sydney before I head back to the US. What are your thoughts on the two options?

I am currently living in Sydney, having just moved from the UK, and I need to book some vacation for my job.

I want to take my family skiing to New Zealand in the winter (July/August). Can anyone recommend when would be best for skiing (beginning of July, middle of July, end of July, beginning of August etc.)
