I am currently living in Sydney, having just moved from the UK, and I need to book some vacation for my job.
I want to take my family skiing to New Zealand in the winter (July/August). Can anyone recommend when would be best for skiing (beginning of July, middle of July, end of July, beginning of August etc.)

The smart comment about snow being on the ground is not the kind of answer I want. I want to know the best few weeks in summer.

New Zealand usually has reliable snow in July and August. The best time is outside school holidays - both Australian and New Zealand school holidays.
