I am going to move to Cavite,Philippines for 7 months and I really want to speak Tagalog. I am 13 and I have already been exposed to Tagalog and I can't speak and understand a little, but I haven't leared all of it yet. How long do you think maybe I will be able to learn Tagalog?

I am in my second year of college in the US, but I have a g/f living in the Philippines, (Mindanao). Are there any nationally accredited colleges or universities there where I could possibly transfer credits to and complete a four year degree because I would like to move there, but I do not want to jeopardize my education by dropping out of college. Which nationality would be open to this Americans, British, Germans, Australians? I am educated never married Filipina who has no desire to move abroad.
