it likes people who do not mind breaking out in sweat even before they've toweled down after a cold shower, people who have their hand held native fans ready to cool down so they don't sweat through their thin shirts, people who shower everyday to wash off the dust and sweat they accumulate during the day walking outside airconditioned shopping malls, and if it does rain, it likes people who are ready to wade through flash flooded streets.

Well, for starters, Manila (or the Philippines) has two main seasons, dry and wet/rainy. The dry season usually starts in March (sometimes in Feb too) and lasts till May or mid-June. Hence, summer in the Philippines is from April-May. The rainy season occurs from mid-June to late November/early December.
Right now, Manila is experiencing the rainy season, but it doesn't rain everyday. In fact, for the past two weeks, temperatures have been quite high (akin to summer temps at 30-33C). However, it usually rains (just light shower) starting at dusk (around 6pm).
Hope this helps you.

the weather in manila today is so unpridictable. because in the morning til afternoon it is so warm. but in the later afternoon the sky will start to build up and who knows if it will rain or not.
I think there's no storm this month so, it may be still warm until the end of the week.
So in short, this week will be warm from 8am-3pm. then in 4pm onward the temp. will cool down a bit. with a humid breeze.

General overview of weather in the Philippines can be found here: http://www.asiahotels.com/weather/Philippines.asp
As for now. weather here is pretty weird. Since it's the Ber-months, it's not as hot and humid as it was last summer, and rainy season is almost over, but we would still get the occasional rainshowers in the evening, and very hot noon time.

LOL, It's kinda like Florida, except that it's hot all year long, temps do not drop any lower than 20F, and that's usually just around december to Feb. Other than that its either rainy or hot, and with all the diesel engines it makes you want to take a shower again, even if you just had one! Once you get used to it (if you ever will) it's really nice if you live by the beach.

hmmmm...Philippines is a tropical country means we doesn't have fall nor winter...sometimes it's very hot during the months of February-August and it's a little bit cold when the the months of "ber" starts example september, october...bla...bla...
sometimes we are experiencing thunderstorms and rain showers. But most of the time it's hot...just bring your electric fan with you...=)

Don't listen to anyone else, I know what it's like:
3am-6am = Cooler, less humid, ~22C
6am-11am = The sun is rising, gets more humid, hotter. ~28C, feels like ~36C
11am-6pm = WOW, don't even go out in direct sun, you will literally burn. ~32-34C, feels like 40C+ It's so humid it feels like being in a ***** kettle full of hot steam.
6pm-8pm = Sun sets at around 6pm, but it still feels ***** hot, but not as hot as direct sunlight. Temperature stays around the same, less discomfort from heat since the sun has set, but still feels like a ***** sauna.
8pm-3am = Still ***** hot and humid, but cooler...actually no, it's still HOT!
THE TEMPERATURE RARELY DROPS BELOW 20C NO MATTER WHAT DAY OF THE YEAR, UNLESS YOU LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS!
PICTURE BEING INSIDE A ROOM FULL OF HOT STEAM, THAT IS HOW THE PHILIPPINES WEATHER FEELS LIKE!
