I don't need to pronounce it, but I want to write I love you on a card in Japanese. Kanji, katakana, hiragana, it doesn't really matter which. Also, I know it makes a difference since I'm a female saying it to a male.

I'd actually like to know this, and everything else. I'm obsessed with Japan and Japanese culture, I'd like to know the hottest new toys and games, how the atmosphere is there, how do people dress, anything and everything you can tell me.

Thanks so much!!

I'm not sure if Japan has a set minimum wage, but I'd like to know what kind of pay to expect from the lower-end jobs. Like cashier at some place, fast-food, etc. same type of jobs here, but in Japan, what kind of salary would I expect? It seems that Japan's economy stays in Japan, so wouldn't their minimum wage be higher than ours, or at least somewhat better? Any help would be appreciated.

I am planning to study in Japan next month. For my convinent, I wish to open a Japanese bank account in here in advance so that I can use it right away when I am in Japan. Is there anyway that you can open a Japanese yen account here (by buying from CA$) or any suggestion? Thanks.

2. Watashi wa amatani aitai

And what would be ways to respond? I'm pretty sure the first part of 2 is "I am..." But the rest is all...japanese to me. And I've been trying to learn for over a month now...

Thanks!

If there is something your friends were pleased when you gave, that will help me a lot. the price range and wheather for men or women don't matter. whatever is ok. could you give me some good idea, please.

I have a friend that lives in Japan. We write letters back and forth, but it would be so nice (and easier) if we could just email each other. However, I've tried sending her emails. She knows my email address and has sent me an email that says she simply cannot receive any of my emails. Yet, I receive hers just fine. Do any of you know how we can fix this problem? Is it something on her end or mine? It would be SO MUCH easier if we could email each other instead of having to wait for the regular mail. I would REALLY appreciate any help I could get.

I'm looking for a place to buy beeswax here in Japan. In Canada you can go into any Michael's or Lewiscraft store and find beezwax. I use it to make candles and also for other craftwork. Can anyone help me out? When I go into Tokyu Hands to ask they look at me like I'm from Mars. Really, I'm from Canada, but to them it's all the same.

My sister is visiting August 14th. I know its the busy season but thats the only time I have off. I have to get down to Kyoto on 16th-18th. We have a hotel and we are getting the 5,000 yen 3-day pass around for JR.

I'm just wondering what the cheapest way to get down there and if anyone knows the URLs for night buses and trains and what your opinion of both are? I took the night bus to Nagoya once and it was pretty comfortable. Slept like a baby.....maybe that was the whiskey though LOL
