Go to Tokyo station first by Limousine bus. 3,000 yen. about 80min usually.

Then take Shinkansen bullet train.
There are 3 different types of cars named Nozomi, Hikari, and Kodama.
Don't take Kodama, it is local train, stops each station.

From Tokyo station to Nagoya, it is only 1 hour 45 min. 10,980 yen. (remember, the last train is around 9PM)

I don't wanna take buses, it takes long time.

PS:If you arrive at Narita around 3-4PM, there are a few domestic direct fights from Narita to Nagoya, around at 4PM to 6PM. The fare is 18,400 yen, takes 1 hour ++.
Ask your travel agent.

Okay, it took me 7 hours by bus from Nagoya to Tokyo. I would imagine that the bullet train would be about 2-3 hours. It's also probably a little over 10000 yen. Considering the airport times and everything, I'm not sure if flying would even be faster, but it does take exactly one hour by plane. Since it is dometic, flying would be a little faster. No idea of a price. It's hard to say which is cheaper. All I know is that Cleveland to Chicago is $70 which would be about (7500 yen). If we go by that, flying shouldn't be more than 10000 yen, right? I guess it depends on whether you want a completely smooth ride on a bullet train, but take a little longer time or you want a not-so-smooth ride but take a little shorter time.

Bullet train is the way I would go. I don't mind spending maybe an extra hour to ensure that:
-all my luggage is rigth beside me and not going to get delayed or something
-always on time, so I won't be delayed
-extremely smooth ride

Plus somehow, I don't think it is 20000 yen or even much more than 10000 yen. So you're going to be spending at least 10000 yen, either way, I'd say.

Try the link below, it will give you several different options, which includes flying. Taking a long trip on a bus in Japan really sucks. I once took a bus from Okayama to Yubara. It's a memory I would like to forget. Long bus rides in Japan are not fun. The Limousine bus is fine though. I have done that several times from Narita to Haneda to connect from my international flight to a domestic flight. Shinkansen is really great. The airport in Nagoya is really nice too, if you get to go there, I mean. It has some really great restaurants and shopping.

the main inexpensive way into city is via keisei narita line community practice. It takes approximately 20 minutes longer than the Skyliner yet expenses 0.5 as lots. You shuttle the proper comparable path because of the fact the Skyliner, even with the undeniable fact that it is the milk run.

All things considered, it's probably about the same money to fly. Your going to pay about 16000 yen for the Shinkansen ticket, plus whatever it costs you to get from NRT to Tokyo station, plus your going to pay 1000 or so to buy a bento or eat in the buffet car (buy the bento). The plane ticket would be about 20000.
