I want to send a box, a toy inside to Japan from USA.
I want to it to be sent carefully, so the box itself will not get any damages. I was planning to put the box to a little bit bigger carton box with many air-bubble sheet(protector) inside it. However, the weight is 5lbs, and if it can reach to 4lbs, the shipping fee is so different.
And here is my question:
Do you think I can put the air-bubble sheet around the box and then wrap that with a thick mailing packing paper?

What I am worrying about is that the damage to the box. If I sent it inside USA, it probably OK, but this is for international.

If you have any other good ideas that I can make my shipping very light, please help me.

Thank you.

I'm going to be in Tokyo this January and need some ideas of places to see/things to do. Since it's winter, the gardens are probably not the best thing to see. Any suggestions?

I'm really interested in hostessing in Japan, but there are a few things that concern me I'd like some answers to. First, is it safe? I know we've all heard about Lucy Blackman, but in all actuality, is it safe for a young caucasion woman to work in Tokyo? I don't necessarily want to go alone, can you suggest a place I might find other women interested in this line of work? Also, I recently had foot surgery, and while I can stand in short 3inch heels for short periods, I have trouble walking long distances. Will they have any leniency on that? Will I be forced to work on my feet? And one more, what is the pay like?

I want to ship a bicycle from California to Japan. Specifically a recumbent bicycle from BikeE. I can have the bike taken apart and boxed, but the frame is close to two meters long and would have to be specially shipped. If there are any relativly cheap options, I would really appreciate some advice. Thank you.

I will be moving to Japan to work next year and can request a location. I'm American, speak no Japanese, but want to get as much as possible out of the experience. I'm interested in learning the language and culture, but also want to be able to converse in English any locals that do speak it. I also favor a warmer climate, etc. beaches for surfing and whatnot. What are some locations I should look into to help answer my question? I'm open to any personal preferences, opinions, experiences. Thanks for the help.
