Been to both.
DisneyLand has more rides but lots more kids and therefore longer lines. They have the classic rides like Space Mountaim, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mountain - I mean Mansion. But these often have long, long, long lines!
Disney Sea though it has fewer rides, has more interesting exterior scenes such as Mayan Pyramid, Fairy Tale Arabia, Early 20th Century America, Venice, etc...
It's like the inside of a typical Disney ride turn inside out. DisneySea is more interesting just to walk about whereas with DisneyLand with the exception of the AdventureLand (Critter Country, Old West, as well) area and ToonTown, is just like a parking lot with buildings and some few trees.
Some of the rides at DisneySea are really awesome like Indiana Jones, Center of the Earth, and Sinbad. The Indy Jones one is like being in a movie.
The shows are better too. I can't stand those dumb parades at DisneyLand - though they do ease up the lines a bit as the kids want to see them. I saw one show at Disney Sea that impressed my generally jaded soul.
The food also seemed better at DisneySea and best thing -
YOU CAN DRINK BOOZE!!!!!!!

I also haven't been to either but have read many reviews from people who've been to both, and the preferred seems to be Disney Sea. I heard Tokyo DisneyLand was really dirty, but I don't know if that means Disney Sea is, too. Disney Sea is a bit different from all the other Disney Parks around the world. There is only one Disney Sea, but there's four DisneyLand Parks - Anaheim, California, Paris, France, Tokyo, Japan, Hong Kong, China. I would pick Disney Sea if I were going and had the choice. Check out the websites for each and see which one appeals to you most...

Havnet been to either, but have seen a lot if information on both. I would go for Disney Sea all the way. The reason is that it is so different from any other DIsney Park. The Disneyland is base don teh same Disneylands in California and Orlando. But the Disney Sea is a whole new park, with a whole new concept.
The Travel Channel a few years ago had a great episode on teh Disney Sea, and it looks pretty wild.
Good luck!

Depends on what you are looking for:
- There seem to be more rides for younger children at Tokyo Disneyland.
- The rides at DisneySea seem to be more oriented towards older kids, though there certainly are rides for younger kids, too.
- Disneyland is a lot more crowded (and for some reason teenagers and young adults line up for the kiddy rides).
- Disneyland is more like the Disney parks in the U.S., with the attractions you may remember from when you were young.
- Both parks are great and you probably cannot go wrong (but avoid weekends and holidays)
- For kids under 5, I would also recommend ThomasLand at Fujikyuu Highland, near Mt. Fuji.

DisneySea! It's unique. Tokyo Disneyland is very similar to the Disney parks you find in Los Angeles and Orlando.

i'd recommand Disney land. greater proper rides there than Tokyo Disney sea, yet, the subject is Disney land is often crowded. Very! For some rides, you will desire to stay in line and wait little over a million/2 hour.... Require alot of affected person. Does your son like power rangers? often Tokyo dome city has power ranger shows on a daily basis for the duration of December. teach is a few million/2 hour long. additionally, it relatively is outdoors, so, you will desire to hold blankets or rather heat up inclusive of your winter jackets and scarf. Tokyo Dome city is baseball stadium suraoundded by utilising entertainment park. they have alot of rides there, too. I took my son there approximately 3 years in the past. He became in effortless terms 3 years previous, yet, he rather enjoyed the day there.

I have been to Disiney Sea with my kids and wife. We had a good time, there were fun things for all ages. Big suggestion, go on a day the middle of the week, and make sure the schools are not on holiday or break. Or you will wait in lines up to one our long.
